TFC Wins a 2008 Sammy Award!
Sunday, February 10th, 2008 by AnnaTribute Film Classics has won a Sammy Film Music Award from American Music Preservation. Bernard Herrmann’s score to FAHRENHEIT 451 has won in the Preservation Award for Best Restored Film Score.
These movie awards are named in the honor of lyricist, Sammy Cahn 1913-1993. The Sammys are announced each year for the best film music related CDs, and are chosen by Roger Hall, a respected film music historian, ASCAP composer, and author of A Guide to Film Music, and editor of Film Music Review.
